“Extremely scary”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2012

Unlike most haunted houses in which something might pop out at you and startle you, this place immerses you in fear. You get what you pay for! It's terrifying. Which is good if that's what you like! I wouldn't go through again just because I was so scared. They use lighting as an affect, and it's perfectly timed to give you brief glimpses of things around you. Mostly it is pitch black and you have to follow a little red light. And wait in agony when that light blinks out, knowing something it about to happen! I think they do a fantastic job, but be advised that there is some contact. There is also a spot where you need to crawl on the floor, which is even more terrifying, but might be difficult for someone who is stiff, etc.

“Not bad or great”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2012

Like most of the haunted houses on the strip, the service is lousy and lackluster at best If you turn on your phone for a second they yell at you to turn off the lights and all this stuff. Ruining immersion and paying for the abuse can be a bit taxing. No one cares. I have been to all the haunted houses just to say I went and well, this place is just average for ambiance but poor for service. All the houses expect you to go through on their time and leave asap.

What a horrible "EXCUSE" for a haunted house! I have designed and attended many haunted houses in my lifetime and NEVER have I come across something like this! This isn't a haunted house designed to scare you, it's designed to TORTURE you!! It was completely dark inside which was fine. It was the LAMEST haunted house I'd ever been in. Nothing was happening. About halfway through, there was a guy at your feet with a chainsaw which was LAUGHABLE and not scary. There were some strings hanging down that hit your face. Nothing scary. Now comes the torture part. They TRAP you in a skinny hallway that can fit maybe 4 average sized people. It's very cramped and hot. You can't go forward or backward and then they start blowing up these vinyl bags on the walls. The bags press in on you from both sides and you are basically being SUFFOCATED in the dark. They proceed to do this for about 5 minutes, until you call out Chicken. Then they still continue to SUFFOCATE you for another couple of minutes. When I got out my whole body was trembling. If someone has a heart problem or is claustrophobic, it is going to be very traumatic! This is their whole 'scary attraction'. THIS WAS THE BIGGEST RIPOFF I HAVE EVER SEEN. They bill it as the #1 scariest haunted house, but all it is, is a torture chamber. Hopefully, someone will go in a punch a hole in those bags next time. They should be ashamed of themselves calling this a haunted house. It's nothing of the kind.

“Very Scary”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2012

This is the best haunted house in Clifton Hill. The place is pitch dark and you have to follow LEDs on the ceiling to get your self around. You run into things dangling from the ceiling, people grabbing you and running into walls. They take pictures of your wonderful frightened faces and show them for purchase at the end. At any point in time you can get out by yelling "Nightmares". It is quite scary and you are in there for quite a while. However, it is very fun and if you like a good scare I highly recommend it.
