“Large Portions, Variety and Attentive Service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2012

Lots of parking. Just east of 410 on Eglinto, North Side.

Place is busy. So on popular firday and satudray nights be prepared to wait for a seat.

Decor is dated (seafoam and pink) but well maintained.
Fairly bright and busy so not the place for a relaxed "date night experience"

The menu is extensive but extensive for road house or family . Salads, sandwiches burgers, pasta and greek, some fish some grill. Don't expect the united nations and french continental cuisine.

The souvlaki platters and montreal smoked meat sandwiches were quite popular. at adjoining tables.

Service was frequent and attentive. Your glass of water is never low , or beer not notices as near empty. The waitress offers a second spoon to share for soup and dessert. Waiters move fast and stay working the floor.

Portions are large. to actually too large. No one around left without a carton with 1/2 of the serving. We had souvlaki and chicken primavera. The next day also at home as a full second meal.

Prices a tad high for "road house" but in line for dining experience and portions.

They do let you share but there is a surcharge for double plating from a single meal .. If you aren't into doggy bags and cringe at leaving food for waste, . Agree on sharing a meal and save..

We will definitely go again.

“Three in a row! just as good as the first !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2012

The place was full and the staff had us seated in no time. ( reservations are a must if you want a table). Margaret was most efficient,( there were nine in our party)very pleasant and made a very good suggestion for my meal. It was our third visit to Peter's and the whole dining experience is what keeps us coming back.
Great food and service in a warm atmosphere!

“Go hungry!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2012

The decor is staight out of the 80's but it is clean and well cared for. The food is great quality and trust me, you won't leave hungry. LOVE the slovaki dinner with greek salad and the greek potatoes that come with it are my favourite. The montreal smoked meat sandwich is worth taking a picture of, they stack the meat on this sandwich! Great food. Always busy. Worth the money. Enjoy!

“Nice Place to go”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 14, 2012

This is a nice restaurant different from the fast food chain. We had a nice sunny window seat.
I had the fish and chips and my wife the chicken brochettes. But plate were too big for us.For me the coleslaw salad doesn't go with the fish,i had only two bites but may be perfect with smoke meat.I never saw a big chicken brochette like that except in some brazilian restaurant.
My wife won't cook tonite because of the large portion.(doggy bag)
It is a bit pricey but again you have a lot on the plate. The fish was excellent.
The place was full even on wednesday lunch time.I will probably return to taste the smoke meat sandwich.
Go with a large appetite or share your plate!

“popular place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2012

On a recent trip to Toronto we visited this restaurant with a group of six. We had to wait for about 30 minutes on a Saturday night which we thought was a good sign. The place was packed. Servers were rushing all over the place to take and deliver orders.

The food is Greek-based but the menu also includes other items such as burgers, sandwiches, and fish and chips. Food portions are very large but they are pricey. The best approach here is to order one meal and split it with someone else (unless very hungry) or be prepared to take food home with you.

Judging by the crowd this is a popular place, and the food is good quality. But I still think it is priced too high when compared with similar style restaurants (e.g. The Grille in Etobicoke).

- . ; popular place; good quality food
