I would rate Canyon Creek as one of my favorite (if not my top favorite) steakhouse. I go there every March 14th... for those of you who are in the know.... ;)
I'm not a foodie, so I'm not going to waste your time with the menu. You'll get that with other reviews I'm sure.
The wait staff are pleasant and attentive, the greeters are as pretty as one would want when entering a restaurant and they are usually there when entering to open the door for you.
The bar side is a bit noisier, but does not affect the ambiance of the dining room. If you're a little cold, there is a big gas fireplace in the dining room, try to get a seat there. I can't comment more on the bar side, I've never been because I make a reservation and they seat us immediately.
Seats are comfortable, no solid wood (which, if the seats are wood, it makes me never go back!) There is no rush on getting you out after you eat, we normally sit for a good time afterwards just chatting.
If I had to change anything, I would say it's just a little too bright, but it's darker than most if not all major chain restaurants I've been to. The solid wood everywhere gives the restaurant an upscale feel and a relaxed atmosphere.
Prices are lower than other major chains of steakhouses and you trade nothing by choosing Canyon Creek.
