Moving to the area, I looked forward to enjoying what I expected would be a good selection of restaurants and was disappointed that there are fewer great eats than I expected, but still more than enough to enjoy. So, if you're looking to enjoy a meal during your visit, my feedback on the ones we've tried over the past year is:
For the best overall combination of very good food and an outdoor patio you can't beat Ten at the corner of Hurontario beside the always busy square on warm summer nights.
For the best patio you can't beat Snug Harbour beside the lighthouse but they rely too much on the fantastic location so the food is too often middling which is why we rarely choose this giant, fantastic patio over Ten's (we're mostly there for the food after all).
For a cozy atmosphere and authentic Italian pizza, you can't ask for better than Papa Giuseppe's beside the library (on the north side, east of the lighthouse). While the restaurant is tiny, you can enjoy al fresco dining on their quaint patio out back.
Crooked Cue has an extensive seasonal outdoor patio that pushes the sidewalk onto the street which offers a wide selection of finger foods and pizza as well as an upscale billiards environment for rainy days or the rest of the year.
Right next door to "The Cue" is Shore with another large seasonal patio and quite enjoyable food the one time we've stopped in so far - we intend to go back and enjoy that patio.
There are three Greek food places on the well travelled part of Port Credit west of Hurontario; but, for tasty authentic Greek food, check out Colossus a few blocks east of Hurontatio that I wrote a review on. I'd also recommend Aielli right next door for more formal Italian dining and on the south side, a block east is a wonderful little Thai restaurant.
Hope this helps you enjoy a great meal during your next visit to Port Credit.
