As this hotel is in an industrial area, the only reason to stay here is the hotel's proximity to the airport.
The staff was very helpful. As others have noted, the standard rooms are quite small, but okay for one person. Bed was comfortable, heating unit was very quiet, plumbing worked fine, no noise from other rooms, clean rooms, and that's what's important. Hotel is a bit dated looking, but not a big deal. Business center in the lobby with two computers is very convenient, and the Toronto Globe and Mail and the National Post complimentary.
We did not eat at the restaurant. Food may have been good, but seemed very high priced, e.g. $20.00 for the basic weekday breakfast buffet. Bar prices very high as well.
There was a coffee stand in the lobby, but the hotel charged for it. Seems odd... this is most often complimentary. There was a coffee maker in the room for coffee. But over a three-day stay, each day there was only one tea packet left, and green tea (who drinks green tea?) at that.
But again, not much in the surrounding area other than an A&W and Subway, so the hotel has a captive audience for food and drink.
