“Fantastic Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2013

We stayed at this hotel due to its location to the airport as our friends were returning to the UK the next day.
Check in was a breeze and the young man at the desk was extremely helpful. After asking for ID and noticing it was government ID, he informed us that the parking for the vehicle was complimentary. He handed us a specific ticket to put on the dash.
He also informed us of all the hotel had to offer and explained the continental breakfast hours and location.

My husband and I had a suite on the 6th floor so that we could entertain our friends . It was very big, fridge, microwave including popcorn, sink, table and lovely sitting area. Very spacious and yet comfy and intimate.

Upon heading out for dinner, we inquired of Melissa, if it was possible to walk to The Keg on Dixon. She indicated it was a fairly long hike and instead of calling us a cab, she hailed the Hotel shuttle bus that is used for the airport and the driver took us to the restaurant and came and picked us up when we were done. She did indicate that the airport and guests took priority over picking us up but they would come as quickly as possible. We waited 10 mins from placing the call when dinner was over!! Spectacular service, that they were kind of offer.

Continental breakfast was amazing and plenty of, the hot items were hot and the sitting area was very comfortable and top notch.

We also were able to ride the shuttle service to the airport with our friends so we could get them sent off. Again, a nice touch.

All in all, will consider this hotel for any trips out of Pearson!!

Very nicely decorated hotel - the room was fresh and pleasant. Bathroom was large and looked newly fitted. Often airport hotels are dingy and tired and sad. The complimentary breakfast had tremendous choice, including make-your-own waffles. Shuttle bus came very quickly when we arrived at the airport. Great value.

Good hotel for a short stay , like two days. Very good breakfast, nice staff, free pick up at the airport, and shuttle back to the train station to downtown Toronto. There´s a free fone inside the airport,so keep the number handy. The room was ok. I would stay there again. The final train station is in the downtown center.

I read the reviews for many hotels close to the Pearson Airport and there were many favourable reviews so we decided to go ahead an book since we were only staying overnight and had an early morning flight. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and lobby was clean and very well maintained. When we got to our room, we could smell a faint smell of smoke. I am pretty sure I had booked a non-smoking room so I was shocked. We didn't bother to ask for a new room since we were only staying for a few hours. However, I probably should have since I did not sleep well.

On the plus side, because we were leaving early and could not take advantage of the complimentary breakfast, the gave us a goody bag with water, muffin, granola bar and an apple.
Also, the shuttle service was great and because of the close proximity to the airport, it only took about 5 mins. Also, we left our car there for 3 nights with no issues.

Overall, fine but beware that your room may smell like smoke.

I made my reservation in March for a room (2QNS LRG STUDIO SOFA NOSMO) for my family of five for one night in transit in Toronto. After a day of travel we arrived at the hotel around 11 pm and we were surprised that our studio had been given and that we would get a room with two queen beds for our family of 5. We accept, as we are very tired and my little 8 year old daughter is very ill with a big fever.
Upon opening the door, a smell of smoke (non-smoking hotel) surprises us and we decided to ask for another room. Unfortunately, the person informed us that the hotel is full (sold out) and it is the only room left. We decided to cancel our stay and go elsewhere.
I bother to book several months in advance to be sure everything is correct. Usually, we have upgrade when rooms are not available, not otherwise. I am a HHonors member (silver) for a few years and I wanted as much as possible to stay in hotels from Hilton's chain.
Unfortunately, with this experience, I will not trust your chain. How to be sure that the booking will be met on arrival?

The hotel was very nice and clean with friendly staff.Breakfast was on schedule every day.The only problem was parking. There was not enough parking on the property, guest had to park on the street as the hotel was completely booked.Other than that issue everything else was excellent.I would still book this location in the future.

We came to Toronto to attend the Scotia Bank Caribbean Festival (Caribana). We decided to stay at this hotel because of the many positive reviews written on Tripadviser. We also took into consideration the different in price (about $80/day) of similar rated hotels in downtown Toronto. The hotel is located close to the international airport and about a 20 minutes’ drive to Toronto city center. Besides parking lots and 2 other neighboring hotels there is nothing of interest in the hotel vicinity. Hampton Inn also uses its parking lot for public parking. Hotel guests are charged $12/day for parking. Check in was smooth and quickly. The staff of the hotel was very polite. The lobby is basic and close to the breakfast area. Hot breakfast is complimentary. It is palatable but not great. The meat and eggs are from processed stuff. Good varieties of fresh fruits are included with the breakfast. The breakfast staffs were very efficient and friendly. The room was good size with the typical amenities for a 3 star hotel. The towels were not of high quality but adequate. The free internet had good strength. The TV was good size but the channels were a bit limited for the cable hookup. The water pressure in the shower was low but manageable. Checkout was also professional. My parking fee was waived because the parking lot was full on 2 occasions when we came in late at night from partying. I had to park on the street without a problem. This does not seem to be typical as the hotel was booked solid for the Caribana.

Room Tip: This is a good in-transit hotel that offer free airport transfer. Rent a car if one will be here for...
