“Eat in fine. Take out, not so much!”
We had a great sit down meal at the restaurant. Not only was the roti fresh, soft and delicious, the curry was excellent too. We could not keep our eyes of other people's food!
However, for a large family dinner, I ordered dhalpuri and paratha. First of all, despite ordering a week in advance, we were asked to wait 15 mins for it to be ready. That turned into half an hour. By the time the roti got home, they were heavy and stiff. I was actually embarrassed to put it out for Trinidadians. I apologized repeatedly, and nobody told me ... her. it's OK. Which means, of course, they agreed that it was not up to par.
I'll go back and try sit down again if in the area. But no more take home roti!
