This is your typical Garden Inn. I found the room on the small side, especially the bathroom. You have to stand sideways in the shower to avoid hitting the walls. The heating unit was very noisy, requiring it to be turned off at night. The bathroom does not have an exhaust fan.
Still a pretty good place to stay. The underground parking is very convenient at this time of year ($12/day). The shuttle to the airport runs 24/7 but only every half hour (top and bottom of the hour), so you must plan accordingly.
Note that it is a bit tricky to exit the airport rental car location and find your way to the hotel...

This room was a good value for the money.
The room was comfortable, clean (I do bed checks!) quiet.
The hotel was in a convenient location, but not a lot of late night options for munchies.

We will stay here again.

Overall this is a nice new property. Rooms are big and clean. Front desk staff were pleasant and efficient at check in. As a Hilton member I was given a voucher for two free bottles of water. Very nice touch.

Used the shuttle from the airport. Make sure you get the right one because there are two Hilton Garden Inns near the airport. One is Toronto airport west. This one is just Toronto airport.

They use new style card keys that are like company access cards that just need to be touched to the reader on the door. Way more convenient than sliding it into a slot.

Nice sized desk with a nicely adjustable mesh office chair. Decent sized flat screen. Good and complimentary WiFi. Working iron and ironing board.

Room temperature control was good as well. Not overly noisy.

The bathroom had a glass wall in shower with no tub. Looked nice and was a good size. The only issue I had was with the temperature control of the water in the shower and sink. It was hard to set it in between hot or cold. Not sure why this was. It was like the middle part of the adjustment was a dead zone.

Had breakfast at the restaurant downstairs and had a drink after work one night. Friendly and efficient staff.

Despite the issue with the water temp I would definitely come back.

1) It took 45 minutes to be picked up from the Toronto airport. We called two times to confirm the bus was coming (it was 7PM). They assured us it was, but it still took 45 minutes for our pickup.
2) Once we were picked up and dropped off at our hotel, it took over 20 minutes to check-in. There was only one person working the desk. Apparently, one guest had an issue and she was talking with him for 15 of those minutes. The couple in front of us was at the wrong hotel. When we finally checked in, the person was a bit short and rude, but we managed to get our room key.'
3) The hotel hallways were absolutely freezing cold.
4) The hotel rooms are average. The beds are rock hard. The shower was a bit odd and not the cleanest.
5) Dinner was ridiculous. I actually gave up on getting dinner in the dining room and had my husband bring it up after he and our friends finished eating. It took over 20 minutes to get our order taken. I have unpacked, re-packed, taken a shower and fallen asleep by the time they were done. 6) To top things off, the pricing is obscene! A burger is $15-18. It's actually the same price on the room service menu, but without the added fees.

I would NOT recommend this hotel. We're Hilton Honors members and the only thing we got out of our stay aside from sore backs were two bottled waters and a lot of waiting around.

Thank you for taking the time to share feedback on your recent experience at our hotel.

Please accept our apology for the slow service encountered upon arrival, it is not normal that only one person be working the front desk and we appreciate your understanding as our team worked to provide the same friendly and efficient service you are used to despite being shorthanded. In the future we will work harder to ensure there is always backup help available for our check-in staff. I am sorry to hear you had a similarly disappointing experience with your dinner experience. I have shared your comments on the speed and value of our service with our culinary team and they will use it to re-evaluate our offerings and delivery.

Thank you again for sharing your comments with us, we value our guests input as we continually work to improve our guest experience.

Kindest Regards,

Milani Patel

I stayed for 2 nites, Oct 22 and Oct 23, clean hotel, good Location, the bar area at night could be larger, both nites there was very limited seating available. I stayed in roon 1117, and the sink did not drain properly.

I only spent the night at the hotel but I wished my stay would have been longer given the suite I got. Independent room, bathroom and TV Room. The great advantage is the location close to the airport. I highly recommend it.

We stayed here for two nights while we were visiting Toronto. The gym and pool areas are very spacious. One night we ordered room service which was fantastic. Great food and good service from the staff.

The only one complaint we had was the air conditioner kept going on and off all night which was hard to have a good nights sleep.

Overall the rooms were great, nice size. Very clean and staff were very helpful
