We've stayed here several times over the years when doing an overnight in Toronto, but this was our last stay. The worst thing was that the keycards didn't work. We stood outside the door for 15 minutes waiting for someone to open it. He then told us if we left the room we wouldn't be able to get back in without waiting for another employee to open the door. In essence, we were trapped in our room. We booked a 2 bed room & were then told they had none available. I pulled out the sleep sofa and the sheets smelled as if they'd been there since the place was built. The room was dingy and dreary. Everything beige and gloomy. This place is in serious need of a facelift. Best of all - when I turned on the lights in the bathroom the next morning there were cockroaches running around. I was going to let the desk know when we checked out, but the desk wasn't staffed when we were checking out. Waited for the van for 20 minutes & never saw a single staff member. Do yourself a favor - stay somewhere else.

Stayed for 2 nights on weekend trip to Toronto. To avoid he hustle and bustle of downtown we chose this hotel. Upon entering the lobby I was impressed with the decor. Very elegant looking. The hotel employee that checked us in was very nice and every time I came in contact with her during our stay she made small talk and joked around with my family. I wish I had her name to put here. (she worked Friday 10th at 7:30pm and was on again Sat night at 10pm). Rooms were very nice, bathroom nice, shower fine. Beds were comfy. Room has microwave and fridge. Pool was good time. Only two small issues with my stay. Jaquizzi broken and there was a wedding Sat. Night that took all the parking in the lot so we had to park across the street in another business lot until after 11pm when guests started to leave. Other than that....kudos on this hotel.

Everything with the hotel is just OK. The room was nice enough but looked a little tired and was in need of a refurishment. Bed is ok, bathroom is ok, service is ok. Breakfast service in a mock English style pub was OK.


Probably would not stay there again.

This is a great hotel excellent service in the restaurant, i believe we had a server named john he was hilarious and easy to get along with. this has been my second time to this hotel in 3 months because i came down to visit family. the first time i went there the jacuzzi in my room only had the option of cold water. and when we went to the pool it was really good until we realized the hot tub didnt work which was a total let down. and two and half months prior to this i was at the hotel aswel and two and half months ago the hot tub didnt work and it still doesnt.. total let down
if youre into the hot tub and jacuzzi idea not a good idea to go here but they have amazing service and friendly staff :)
