“Excellent on site restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2014

As a HH Diamond member I booked a std King room non-Club floor and upgraded to Club floor King mini suite per HH benefits. Nice welcome letter and tiny chocolate gift (missed the small bottle of red wine from last time) as a Diamond gift.

Room - Was very clean and well stocked. Bed was one of the best I've had on the road. Bonus ! they use pillow liners for max hygiene...wish more local hotels did too. Room wasn't huge but well laid out for business or relaxing with an excellent desk and wifi was pretty good.

Club Lounge - Nice lounge with comfortable chairs, quality snacks/adult beverages. Above average premium wine but 2-drink limit seems a bit cheap given room rates here are above average compared to other venues. Lounge seems small likely because its jammed full of chairs so quite crowded and no privacy for conversations....really need more room to improve the quality. Some conversation muffling background music would be nice I suppose. Lounge staff are 1st Class and food/snack offerings above average in the evening (Never did breakfast) were great but space a bit too crowded for my tastes. It needs fewer 4 person tables and more individual chairs and small drink tables to free up elbow room.

Restaurant - Excellent on site restaurant ! Great selection and quality at a reasonable price. Highlight of my stay again. Servers are 1st Class.

Location/Parking - $20 valet my preference in downtown London as self parking is not so convenient and not a huge saving anyway. Excellent location for any downtown activities.

Negative - Seems difficult for Diamonds to get on the same floor as the Club lounge...bit of a hassles to move between floors.

Room Tip: Get to the Club lounge early...not so big so can fill up faster than most

Stayed for a few nights on the executive floor. The room was large with nice working area. Enjoyed the prompt room service and quality of food. The restaurant was really dated. I felt like I was traveling back in time to 1980.

Interior decor: Adequate business class room with Hilton standard furniture on 21st executive floor. A bit outdated lobby.
Exterior appearance: Tall skyscraper at 81 meters high, 22 story building.
Outside view from the room: Good view of London to north side.
Room size: Approximately 32 square metres. Good.
Price: Reasonable points deduction.
Service: Super excellent for the curteous and friendly hotel staffs to let me piano twice (both around 105 minutes) on the 2nd floor lobby area.
Bed: King, high and firm - slept well.

The room was great and the bed was comfortable. Internet was available in your room for free. We were on the 19th floor and had a great view. The breakfast as good also. Close to downtown London and you can walk to the Conversation Center.

Stayed here one night for business. Exercise and pool area is large - a big unused open space even (former lounge area?). Machines are good, pool is good, sauna is large and whirlpool is good. Room was quite large, well appointed, clean and even had a decent view. WiFi worked EVERYWHERE in the hotel (go figure - a hotel that actually gets it). Food in the restaurant was quite good - a vegan breakfast option?? Fantastic! Lunch was very good too, although I didn't eat it they had a huge turkey and beef buffet for US Thanksgiving.

Staff were very helpful - stored luggage no problem, very friendly and attentive. Price was quite good, lower than a really dreary Delta in Mississauga. If I go back to London, this is likely where I will stay.

Room looked nice but felt "Old". Carpet was gritty and not a fresh clean smell in room smelt very stale. Pieces of wall paper were pieced together in bathroom, tile behind toilet bottom right was dirty it is in line of sight so you think it would not be missed when cleaning? You could hear every door open and close all night loud bangs, can doors not have a shock adjusted to close slower but tightly? Without a room shaking bang! Not a bad experience but won’t be my first choice in accommodations next time. I've stayed in nicer places for the same amount of money or less. But the bed is the most comfortable of any hotel I have ever stayed in. I only wish the decor and smell would reflect the comfort of the bed

thank you Valerie for the feedback. This was shared with our engineering team to develop an immediate solution. I would like to inform you that projects are ongoing and on schedule that would continue to update our rooms and amenities. We appreciate you mentioned the comfort of our beds. Its one of the best in the market. I genuinely hope you try us once more in the future. Perhaps by then you would be able to try one of the rooms we're improved, and see what our excellent service can deliver.
