A great pub fare restaurant with an excellent while limited selection of kraft beers. Always a featured draft beer. A good selection of wines by the glass for the wine lover. The menu is not really extensive but every one of the items, appetizer or main are very good and priced reasonably. In particular the ale and onion soup is fantastic. Daily specials are both interesting selections and favourably priced. The staff is great as it seems they love their work. A great place to have a great lunch away from the road houses. Cannot say enough good things, try it you will love it.

“Food for food enthusiasts”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2014

Fun and creative menu, great atmosphere and great patio. Sunday brunch is unique with terrific and interesting selections ( I had an awesome lobster samosa one Sunday ). Everything made from scratch.

“Good food but Brunch is Best”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2014

Nice selection of beer. Okay selection of wine. Really nicely cooked food. I find it fairly rich and sumptuous.
The brunch is great, with a basket of baked goods to start, followed by your choice off of a set menu. I always see foie gras on there somewhere, and they use duck eggs. Quite the treat.

“Very nice restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2014

Very nice spot for a quiet meal, with an excellent menu, and good draft selection. Peter, the owner, and his wife are great hosts. You will have a very pleasant time here...count on it!

“Busy, fun, energetic pub.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2014

It can be busy, yet when looking for a sign of a good resto, what clearer signal can you have?
Food is fresh, well presented and prepared. Service is polite, fun and knowledgeable. Owners are often on-site. Decent menu variety, with some clever choices. Some items take a while to get to table, all is as it should be.
If you're part of the 'blue rinse set', and wish for quiet, cross the street to Garlics. If you enjoy a little energy and fun with your meal, you should be happy here.
Has a wonderful patio which should open soon.
