“Definitely would stay again”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2013

We chose this b&b based on reviews here. Once again this site is demonstrating its usefulness. Marlborough is located less than 15 minutes drive from Point Pelee National Park, the reason for our stay in Leamington. Driving up you see a well kept grand Victorian in a neat neighbourhood, a few hundred meters from the main street. We met Amy at check-in. She made us comfortable immediately, and the scent of baking drew us in eagerly. The place is immaculate and magazine worthy. Like others have reported, they really have thought of everything a guest could need or wish. We met Troy the next morning, breezing out of the kitchen with possibly the most stunningly pretty and delicious a breakfast as we've ever had. It seems this couple are foodies. They are easy to talk with. It's frankly amazing that they appear easy going and warm but accomplish so much while making it look effortless. We've already been talking up the place to family.

Room Tip: Eileen-Elizabeth room has a stand-up shower, and its windows look east. Indirectly overlooks patio...

Once in a while I get to stay at a perfect place. The Marlborough House is just that: perfect. The service, the rooms, the common area and then there is the breakfast: unparalleled. I don't know what to add to the other reviews, except that Troy and Amy are warm and attentive hosts. I can't wait to go back next year. My wife and I loved every minute there. Also having a background in architecture I was pleased to see a home restored with such respect and knowledge to its 1890's charm, while integrating modern bathrooms and technology. We had the most expensive room in the most expensive season and paid less than the Comfort Inn. Each morning was a gourmet's delight.

If you ever go to Leamington, stay here. You will thank me and all the other reviewers that rave about Marlborough House.

Room Tip: All the rooms are magnificent.

Amy was a great host. Her home is very pretty - with a wonderful lounge area complete with books, games, computer centre, coffee, tea, waterjuices and cider. It is a wonderfully preserved and restored century home. Breakfast was plentiful and awesome. Amy gave us a bottle of Local wine to take home with us.

This place has everything - comfortable beds, private bathroom, and coffe making or tea, juices and snacks in the lounge. Free internet acccess without having to bring your own computer, a fridge for guests' use, and all in a heritage home. Our hosts were able to guide us round the community, recommended a really good restaurant and were helpful in everything. And the breakfast!!! Magnifico!
We may visit Leamington again just to stay at Marlborough House.

We just returned from a six night stay at the Marlborough House and could not say enough about this amazing B &B! The hosts Amy &Troy Gee treated us both like royalty. The home is very tastefully decorated, extremely clean, and homemade breakfasts were delicious, plentiful, with alot of variety. They cater to every dietary need. The heated pool was a bonus, and the beautiful weather we had added to our pleasure. They would always engage in conversation to ensure your needs were met, yet respected your privacy. They provided information and suggestions about various points of interest in Leaminton and area, restaurants, wineries, golfing, etc. The both of us could not think of one thing missing during our stay here, and will definitely be back. We highly recommend Marlborough House to anyone traveling to Leamington and area. Thank you again Amy and Troy!

My husband and I have just enjoyed a terrific four night stay at Marlborough House. We came to the area to cycle and relax and have been treated royally here. The home is beautifully appointed with all the amenities, comfy beds, good linens, attractive decor, lovely pool and patio. Amy and Troy are wonderful hosts. They have been incredibly attentive to our every need, but also have mastered the fine balance of hospitality and privacy for their guests. Breakfasts were excellent and lots of good advice around restaurants and what to do in the area. We are frequent B & B users and Marlborough House is in the top tier in our experience. Thank you Amy and Troy.

We had the opportunity to stay at the Marlborough House for 2 exceptional nights. The room was comfortable with all the amenities one would expect, a very comfortable bed, a nice TV with cable and a DVD player. The bathroom was wonderful, very very clean with a great shower. They even had a pool.

I can't say enough about the breakfasts, homemade and LARGE!! No chance you will leave the table hungry.

Amy and Troy were gracious hosts. The interaction with them was pleasant and the conversation enjoyable. They always seemed to be there when you needed something without the feeling of being hovered over.

Overall, I've never had a better stay and would highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Leamington or the surrounding area
