“Good pub to visit on Princess Street Downtown”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

The Toucan has been around for many years! It offers two different places to meet. The upstairs is a more quiet spacious pub the downstairs is low ceilings and feels a bit cramped although the atmosphere is excellent. Great selections of suds and the items on the menu are the same for both sections of the Toucan. The pub also offers a patio with access from the downstairs part of the pub. It has overhead heaters for when the night gets a bit cooler but you want to sit outside. The patio is off the main street giving it a look of privacy and little noise.

“great place to mingle”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2013

love this place even though it still smells like an ashtray- great entertainment, good greasy pub food, fun place to go with the sports team- get there early if you want a patio seat

“Great deals”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2013 via mobile

Arthur rocks. Best bartender in town.
Cheap weekend b fast. I like to go on Sunday at 130-2 and have the cheap breakfast, a pitcher of beer (only pitchers on Sunday) and then have half prices wings around 4 or later. Monday and Tuesday night I believe is also half price wings.
Saturday the burger is the special and is is very good.
It does smell downstairs sometimes. Think it's the carpet. I never notice after a few minutes but upstairs is always fresh smelling and there's a heated patio.

“simple pub”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2013

Its an average pub. but the food is pretty good. The service is friendly and attentive. Its about as clean inside as any pub. Not posh, but warm and friendly. very relaxed atmosphere.
