“All You Can Eat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2012

There are mixed reviews on this place but I find it the best. Start with edamame app and then go right for the special rolls and sashimi. Fresh and well prepared. Go hungry.

“best all you can eat sushi but TERRIBLE service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2012 via mobile

Great sushis but terrible service when you go with a group, although it seems it's getting slowly better. But pass the service and the servers staring at you and you get really good sushi all you can eat

“Good value, decent food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2012

I had an all-you-can-eat lunch which fortunately is not from a buffet but ordered by item and served individually - the hot food was still hot and the chilled food still chilled, unlike many buffets. The food ranged from very good to just OK, but none was bad and it was a good meal overall. The miso soup and wakame salad were both very good, the sushi was nice but not great, and the tempura was only OK, without a real tempura batter (too heavy).

“horrifying service”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2012

Food was good but service was horrible. I ordered the tempura shrimp and my 2 other friends ordered all you can eat sushi. Before I comment on the service the food was delicious. Now service, what turned me off with their service was two things. We had servers watch us all night, we guessed it was to make sure we didn't share food, and the second was if you didn't like something you had to eat it or they would not bring you anything else. Not sharing food is fine, I understand, but staring at your customers to make sure of this is beyond ridiculous. Along with being watched all night, literally having a waiter stand about 10 meters away they would not let my friends have any more all you can eat sushi until every single piece of sushi was eaten on the plate, even if they did't like it. The servers would point at the plate if there were any left and walk away, only when it was empty did they come back to our table to take their order of any sushi they wanted, that they paid to have.

At the end of the night we were fed up and complained to the manager, he told us that his servers would not do that and that we were mistaken. We told him we would never return due to the horrible service and he said that is fine and walked away without addressing anything we discussed.

If you don't mind being stared at while you eat and refused service until every crumb on your plate is eaten, this is a great restaurant for you.

“Decent sushi - great value in the all you can eat lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2012

We have enjoyed sushi here many times - one of my favorites is the Rainbow Roll. Presentation of all dishes is very nice and the food is fresh and well prepared. It is a destination spot for us when we are in Kingston. Service is prompt and polite. We much prefer sushi to the hibachi style so have not experienced that section of the restaurant. No complaints - only thank you to the owners and staff. We will be back - as often as possible.
