“Lemoine Point walk, bike or ski”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2014

For those who love nature and want to embrace Canada in all seasons, this is the place to go!
There is not an entry fee, parking is free and there are walking and bike trails galore. In the winter, this place is great to cross country ski, walk or snow shoe.

One of the best and most exciting parts of this forested park which runs along the lake are the animals. Squirrels, chipmunks, deer, chickadees and more! Best part is, if you bring seed and stand very still, little chickadees will land on your hand and eat the seeds! It is endearing. Something nature lovers of all ages will enjoy!

If you have a dog and it is on a lead, it can enjoy the park too.

Find a comfy pair of shoes or boots and go check it out. If you love it, you can volunteer to help out.

“Enjoyed our walk in the snow!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2014

This CA is at the end of a dead-end road. It has 2 decent sized parking lots. There are a variety of trails to choose from which are nicely signed. Trail brochures available at trail head. This property is 136 hectares of forest, field and marsh. At this time of the year, we could have snowshoed or skied or hiked on the hard pack of 11 km of trails.
