My husband and I stayed here for our wedding night. The room was so lovely. It was clean and fresh, up-to-date and really romantic. We plan on staying here again for our anniversery and I recommend it to everyone.

I booked this hotel because of the high rating on Tripadvisor. I recall something about 'family-run' Inn and destination for romantics. It cost me $130/night through Booking.com. When I got to the location, I was dismayed that it was a motel. Picture old worn furniture, sketchy carpets, old geezer at the reception desk. I was dismayed that I had paid that much for a motel. This is NOT what Green Acres was like though. We had the option of 2 rooms, the first being kind of cramped but pleasant. The 2nd room, farther from the street had 2 double beds (Queen, but not really) and was so stylish and clean. We loved the big screen tv and all of the channels we don't get at home. My husband loved that it had a DVD player which we ended up not using. And the toiletries! - Crabtree and Evelyn!
The staff I dealt with on this trip - Daniel and Sarah were such darlings. The kind of young people you would want your own kids to date.
We really enjoyed the room, (the energy efficient toilet), laminate flooring, mini-kitchen. The bed was so-so comfortable.
Big bonus: you can bring your pet!!! And they don't charge extra!!! Mind you, the 3 rooms they have designated as pet friendly are at the way back of the motel in the un-renovated suites. We didn't see them, but it's kinda nice to know that they're there if we ever want to visit again with our dog.
The hotel is not near the 'touristy' area of Kingston, but is virtually next door to Costco, Walmart, Canadian Tire, Cora's (!), McDonalds, you get the idea. Downtown is a 10 - 15 minute drive through a lot of areas of big-city-type shopping stores.
No restaurant, and we could hear people in the next room talking.

Thank you Trip Adviser, read reviews and stayed here over Chili Fest weekend Sept. 2012. Very nice, clean, and friendly staff. Usually stay in "brand name" hotels, took a chance on privately owned, and it was very worth it! Will definitely stay here again when in Kingston. Little touches make such a difference, owners take pride in their businness.

Our Tulip Suite is the best. It is huge with 3 tv's, 2 fireplaces, a Jaccuzi, a king bed, a partial kitchen, and is very clean and quiet. Including a seperate living room. parking is free and out side your door. They have a outdoor pool, and swings for kids.
