“Cool retro diner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2012

You have to try this place. Food is great. Some of the best burgers in the city of Hamilton. Prices are good, service is
good too. All day breakfast is amazing, lot of neat different things.Home made tomato soup is great.

“1st time at Jack and Lois and loved it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2012

After hearing a lot of buzz about this place my family and I checked them out for a Thursday evening dinner. Sat on the rear patio (which you either have to access from the side street or through their storage room). The food was fantastic! The menu is basically burgers and various types of sandwiches with homemade soup and cole slaw. I ate the replicant mushroom sandwich while my wife had the chancellor (breaded chicken sandwich). The prices are very reasonable so for 10-12 bucks tax-in you'll get a sandwich, slaw and soup. They also brought us the homemade chips which were delicious. Beer prices are good too ($5-$6 pint all in) but not much selection. The indoor seating area looked small but cute and would be a fun place to hang out. Can't wait to come back and try more stuff on the menu. The food tasted very fresh and even though I wouldn't say it is 'health food' it is not overly greasy or anything like that.
