“Hamilton, The City of Waterfalls”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2010

The Niagara Escarpment (which is an UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve) runs through the entire length of Hamilton. The result of this is that there are so many waterfalls in this city, in fact over 100 have been found!
Some of the best ones to visit are: Great Falls, Borer's Falls, Tews Falls, Webster's Falls, Sherman Falls, Tiffany Falls, Canterbury Falls, Darnley Cascade, Progreston Falls, Albion Falls, Billy Monkley Cascade, Hermitage Cascade, Buttermilk Falls, Felker's Falls, Chedoke Falls, Billy Green Falls and dozens more!
Many of these waterfalls you can actually walk in behind if you do not mind getting a bit wet!
I have visited many of these waterfalls in more than one season and each visit in a different season evokes a different experience!
Happy waterfalling!

“Waterfalls are a must see for nature lovers”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2010

I've been exploring the Hamilton region waterfalls in the past few weeks during the fall season and have been completely surprised by their beauty. Particularly spectacular are Webster's Falls and Tews Falls in the Spencer Gorge conservation area. The best time for photographers is early morning as by mid-morning and afternoon you get many people visiting these spots. Bringing comfortable hiking shoes with good treads is a must as some spots are rocky, and in the fall time with wet leaves, a bit on the dangerous side (e.g. steps down to Webster's Falls).

“Amazing waterfalls right here in Hamilton ON”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2010

My husband and I were looking for a day trip around the Hamilton area, having explored rattlesnake point and several conservation areas, we decided to have a look at the waterfalls. Our expectations remained low of what we would find but I must tell you we were more than surprised, we were in fact in awe. We had planned on visiting three of them, Albion Falls, Tiffany Falls and The Devils Punch Bowl. We have seen them summer and winter equally amazing. The Devils punch bowl we decided to walk down to the bottom of it, the walk down is not that easy but well worth it if you can do it.
