“A great place on a hot summer day”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

Extremely hot the day we went. The entrance lineup was long but the staff kept everyone in line supplied with large cups of water and umbrellas.
Easy to find a picnic spot in the shade if you bring a blanket. Wave pool is great fun and the kids did not have to wait too long for the water slides. Everyone enjoyed the lazy river. I was very concerned with the cost of tubes until I was told that half the money was refunded on the return of the tubes. This was a good place to come to forget that the temperature hit 36*C that day!

“Fun day out”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2013

A good day out for kids and adults alike. Great time had in wave pool. Slides and lazy river all good fun. Plenty of space for picnics or just relaxing. Bought tickets online so much easier than standing in huge queue on a hot day! Only down point was long time queuing up to go on slides and lazy river .

“Unprofessional young staff! Racist!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2013 via mobile

The staff are young immature and racist. For a park in Hamilton where there it is multicutural you think they would hire more professional cultural sensitive staff. The supervisor that was on august 17 is useless.

Hello,

Our staff are young, but receive many hours of training to ensure they are providing high levels of service to all of our guests. Based on your review I am unsure of what occurred during your visit to the facility, but would like an opportunity to discuss it with you further.

A management representative can be reached at 905-547-6141 ext. 5301 or 5304

Respectfully,

Natalie

“Wild Water Works - Several Hours of Fun on Warm Summer Day”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2013

So I was able to get off work a bit earlier than expected so I decided to hit up Wild Water Works during its Sundown Rush (4 pm and later). The staff were exceptional whether it be the kiosk lady, their maintenance personnel, lifeguards, security, and food services personnel. All their employees were extremely warm and friendly.

The line-ups were exceptionally short for the Lazy River and the tube and body slides, so it was nice to be able to go down them a couple of times. The wave pool was good. As well as their poutine at one of their food kiosks.

Because I can't give 4.5 or 4.8 out of 5, I have to go with the 5 out of 5 rating as the park and staff deserve it.

However, there are detractions to the park as well. As a single guy, going by oneself or with friends the park should only have the staying power of a couple of hours. With only six slides, they do get a bit boring after you have been down them a couple of times.

“Wild Waterworks--a day well spent!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2013

Wild Waterworks is an excellent facility right off the QEW that boasts caring, well-trained staff, plenty of slides, an area for young children, lazy river, and an awesome wavepool. Good value for the admission fee, and offers a discount after 4 pm. The park is not too large, so you feel comfortable letting your older children walk about on their own. From the minute you arrive you are warmly greeted at the gate. I've read a few reviews that are insulting to the lifeguards. These guards work long days at a stretch, attend regular training both for fitness and to keep up on regulations. They not only have to keep a close watch on their zone, but are expected to enforce rules such as the swimwear policy which by the way is a public health rule, to the verbal abuse of some patrons. Think twice before you bad-mouth the staff.

Thank you for your kind words.

We strive to provide safe, clean and healthy fun for our guests. Staff work long days during intense heat and it is good to hear that they are providing friendly service to our guests. The majority of our employees are students and we are constantly impressed with the level of professionalism they are able to provide, even during stressful situations.

Again, we thank you for taking the time to review our facility.

We look forward to seeing you again,

Respectfully,

Natalie
