“Absolutely disgusting service and food.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2014 via mobile

My husband and i use to live in guelph and use to eat here all the time. It was great. We went back tonight when visitng guelph and were absolutely disgusted. The service was terrible had to wait for someone to come to our table for 15 min. I ordered the pad thai and yhe noodles were soggy and the whole meal tasted like someone dumped ketchup on it. Dont waste your time. Find somewhere else to go.

“Don't waste your money”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2013

We started going there as it was close to the office, but what a disappointment!!!! The food is not consistent. Some days it tastes like chinese food and some days it tstes right. Same dish will be different from a week to a week. We stopped going there. Don't receomment it to anyone. Will go out of my way to eat somewhere else

“Excellent meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2013 via mobile

Took my brother and sister in-law for Thai there first time and they loved it. The food was excellent and service they were quite attentive. We enjoyed the appetizers and tried 4 different dishes which were all very tasty. We always enjoy our visit here.

“Pretty good and consistent”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 12, 2013

I've eaten at most of the PBT restaurants. The food was best at the Hamilton downtown location, but Guelph is pretty good. Service can be spotty at this location, but nowhere near as abrupt as that at the Hamilton one.

The deepfried rolls are not made on site. Fresh rolls are usually good, Pho is consistent and good value, other good choices are green curry, chile salt fish, sesame noodles, Singapore noodles with chicken. Mango and other shakes are refreshing, and the Viet Ice Cappucino is pretty good.

Those who complain about waiting for plates probably should realize that shared dishes are not the de facto standard and you should tell your server you are sharing everything so that you will get plates, and bowls for pho, and serving utensils.
