I have walked past this place for years and finally decided to try it out. First of all this is the first place that i have run into in Guelph that you need a reservation to sit on their patio. We arrived and all of the tables on the patio where empty and reserved. I understand a reservation system to ensure that people get a table but seriously. We decided to take a table inside but almost turned around and walked out with the servers attitude.
The chef has to decide what type of restaurant it is . is it mexican or Italian. They have both on the menu which states to me that they can only do one of them well and i was right. Everyone else at the table ordered a mexican dish and they enjoyed them but I ordered the Shrimp Primavera. What a disaster. There was maybe 3 shrimp, there was no flavor except for the pepper that the server added at the table and i could pour the oil off the plate there was so much of it. To top it off the dish was suppose to come with Garlic Toast which were smaller then the size of a cookie. Surprised they are still open with the great spaces available downtown. WEBSITE NEEDS A REDESIGN. The website gives a totally different vibe to what the location is. They have done a good job with the VIBE of the location.
