“Quick and easy.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2013

There aren't many options in town and this one is 2nd best with 1/2 the price. I was there on a Fri. and Sat. night and only a few rooms were booked. It was very quiet even though next to a highway. The actual location is an unusual one to get to, although plentiful signs. Service was good, place clean. Average comfort. It was very cold weather and the room and lobby were warm but the hallways were ice cold.

Fairly clean room in a hotel which is obviously on a very low budget. The hotel, although facing the freeway which is separated by a chain link fence,is reached by travelling down a narrow, country type road and entering another dark (at night) dead end street housing only this hotel and nothing else but trees and grassy areas overgrown with weeds. One first sees the back of the hotel which resembles a deserted brick office building. The lobby is vintage and the breakfast nook is TINY. To reach the upstairs rooms one must climb a narrow, steep stair case which necessitates dragging one's suitcase stair by stair behind. The furniture is well worn, the box spring frayed, the mattress simple but somewhat newer, the small bathroom sink cracked and chipped, a newer fiberglass tub/shower surround and an ancient TV which gets absolutely no reception. All at a high price considering what very little one receives in return.

Room Tip: Probably choose a different hotel.

This was just an overnight stay booked about 30 minutes prior to our stay. The hotel was fine for one night. The breakfast selection was only pastries. The channel selections on the TV were maybe 10 and not that good of choices.

Room Tip: This hotel was near the Peace Bridge into Canada as we arrived a day early for our official stay. T...

Today is the first time we've read any reviews for this place , although we've been staying there regularly for the past 3 years . The purpose of our trips are mainly to visit family , as we are originally from Fort Erie.Yes, the place does need a facelift , but the staff are very nice , from management to the housekeeping staff. Our room is always clean and well stocked , and if we need any extras , they are always provided with a smile !!!
Thw location is woodsy , so if you're a bird / nature lover , then this place is for you . It is also very close to stores ; some you can walk to .
As for the breakfast , we do not partake , as we prefer Tim Hortons or Mc Donalds which are also close to the motel .
Overall, our stays are enjoyable !

Room Tip: If you stay in the summer , try to get a room in the back , as there is a lot of traffic and it can...

We didn't like our stay here; surprised for a Comfort Inn Hotel, it is more like the Bates Motel. Beds were not comfortable. Bedspread and blanket both had a cigarette hole. Breakfast not that great... store-bought cake and coffee. It's a place where they skimp as much as possible, thinking nobody notices.

Stay elsewhere.

Sometimes I wonder, when I read some reviews of places, whether we've stayed at the same place. Our room was very clean, the sheets crisp and white, the covers clean and pleasant. The carpet needs a clean but was vacuumed. One of the problems, I suspect is that food taken from the microwave gets spilt because that's where most of the stains are. The bathroom was clean and well-equipped. There was no noise around the motel which is down a lane, away from other buildings. The beds and pillows were comfortable. We were on the way to Niagara, coming from Marblehead OH, so this was a good stop and we'd stay here again without hesitation. The WiFi connection was very good. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice, including real juice and fruit. Could do with more tables and chairs though but this is a problem many motels have.

Worn, dated finishes; nasty bedcovers; broken furniture; frayed towels; no alarm clock in room; hard mattress; pathetic breakfast; cheap spoons that cut your lips; only 3 tables to sit at for breakfast (in the lobby); internet works fine. Not worth it.
