This was a nice property. The pool was tastefully decorated and the lobby was nice. The rate we paid online was as much if not more than the walk-in rate. Our complaint is that this hotel had the absolute most uncomfortable beds we have ever encountered in a hotel. We stay in 15 + hotels per month, mostly this quality or higher. After the first night sleeping on these hard, very thinly padded mattresses and feeling springs poking in our backs, they changed us to a new room. The new room was nearly as bad. We were so disappointed. We were on a little trip for some much needed R and R and the beds were so bad. The hotel claimed they were fairly new, but they must have been the bottom bargain grade of mattresses. I also requested one of the specialty pillows that they advertise in the rooms. It took until the third day to get it because the front desk folks did not have the key, only at certain hours when the maids were there. Most of the desk people were very kind and helpful, they just had so many rules that they could not help with a special request like a pillow or something at a late hour. We loved the location, but would probably never stay here again because of the very uncomfortable beds.
