Agreed that this restaurant has a nice location but gets let down by mediocre food and service. On a recent visit on a busy Friday evening we placed our orders and then waited about 50 minutes for food to appear. When the main course arrived I asked where our starter was, the waitress who carried it out replied tartly that she did not have enough arms but it would arrive shortly ( but surely a starter should start the meal?). It did arrive half way through the meal but then it (bruschetta) was so soggy it was hard to pick up so we sent it back. The replacement arrived after we had eaten our meal and our waitress did agree to knock it off the bill. The main courses were not impressive, 3 people had fish - rather bland and no one could detect the promised dressing on the salad. French fries appeared to have been reheated, schnitzel not crisp. As one of our guests said "I could do better than this at home" and we had to agree.
