Some interesting cuisine selections, but small servings, slow service and cold food made this a disappointing night.

“excellent downtown restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2012

After making a shopping stop in Burlington, we were directed by a helpful store cashier to this great restaurant. The menu is eclectic and offers lots to choose from. My wife and I shared a delicious app of baked brie, roasted garlic, and blueberry compote on crostini. My main was an earthy stewed goat with basmati. My wife had a delicious Pad Thai which she raves was the best she's had. We had great, attentive service and including drinks, the dinner was around $75 which I thought was a very good value. I will definately go to the Rude Native again.

“Decadent mac & cheese”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2012

I don't come from a tradition of macaroni and cheese, but I do understand the importance of this dish in north america. The rendering with lobster, truffle oil and other decadences was outstanding. A bit too much for the evening may be, but a whole discovery on the other.

The place is a bit hipster, which is not bad. There was a singer which after some glasses we begun to sing along.
