Shrimp chips (to share between 3),
Thai curry with shrimp,
Sticky rice with mango,
Ice cream (coconut and mango),
Deep fried bananas...
Everything was excellent! This came to roughly $100, including tip, for 3 people during a quiet Sunday lunchtime.
I've eaten these same dishes elsewhere and can say that these were among the best I've ever had. However, it was the waitress who made our visit special. She was quite concerned that we had ordered the Thai fishcakes, and explained that they were imported specially from Thailand. they were not like normal fishcakes, and had a strong fishy taste and smell. However, we explained that we were adventurous and wanted to try them anyway, and they were delivered in due course. She was very attentive after that, making sure that everything was OK for us, without being intrusive. Her friendly manner and good service made the meal special.
The decor is very nice, and the whole place is very clean and well cared for. It may not be the cheapest Thai food around, but it is certainly among the best in the area.
