My wife and I go out each week for dinner. we decided to give Emma's one more try (they broke a glass and split beer all over me last time with little apology).
The place is very noisy but that is ok, it is a bar like environment. However, after we put in an order for beer and our meal, service disappeared. We waited over 45 minutes for the food to arrive. Our waitress told us "it was busy, they had a couple of crowds in the other rooms" . I said to my wife, as we tend to be polite, then hire more staff on those days!
When the waitress finally showed up to give us the bill, she was more interested in telling us someone had walked out without paying her, than she was in actually looking after us. I had to admit to myself, with that degree of service I didn't doubt someone would do that, they probably got tired of waiting! I certainly do not condone it as the waitress probably has to pay for that, but that is it for us, we will not go back again.
