Blacktree is worth the visit simply to experience the talents of Matteo, the chef / owner.
He is able to combine items that I could never think of as an amateur, and make them work - think carpaccio of bear (yes, bear), with chocolate, coffee and an indescribable sauce - stunning as an appetizer!
Full enjoyment requires a bit of a sense of adventure, and you should be sure to talk through the dishes with your server to ensure you will be comfortable with them - much of the effect is personal preference.
High prices, and well worth it!
