Booked dinner reservations at the Aria Bistro & Lounge for Valentine's Day. Although we have driven by this restaurant countless times we had never eaten here before, but wanted to try a fine dining experience instead of the usual casual eateries in town. The restaurant is located in a century old home and the ambiance reflects its surroundings - dignified yet still homey, tasteful but not overstated. The restaurant was quite busy (as expected for the holiday) but within 5 minutes our coats were taken and we were seated at our table by the owner of the business. As far as the service goes, we have no complaints at all. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive despite the busy night. The food is expensive, but not exorbitantly so and we felt that the quality was well worth it - again this is a fine dining restaurant so it is to be expected. The bread and dipping plate put on the table was so fresh and tasty (nothing worse than stale bread to start off a meal). All of our dishes arrived at table in a timely manner, all were hot and all tasted wonderful - very fresh ingredients. My partner had the 10oz Angus steak which he said was cooked beautifully medium rare as he requested and melted like butter in his mouth. I had the mnicotti stuffed crepes and this dish was so light and creamy; all the portions were decent size and not huge so as to make one overly stuffed. Dessert was also excellent. With the bill, we were given a couple of nice chocolates and a gift certificate for two, to come back again within a few months to eat there again. We certainly will and look forward to trying the restaurant out again on a regular night - but our first exeprience was very good!
