“THE ONLY PLACE TO STAY IN BRAMPTON”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2010

I have tried other hotels in Brampton and always come back to Courtyard. Location, Staff and front meeting area make this hotel a winner. The morning breakfast is a great start to any day as well as the free use of computers in the front lobby which you can print on at no charge! The front lobby has a great abiance with comfortable seating for large groups or small smeeting with clients.

This is the second Marriott we are staying at. We used to stay at Hyatt Place hotels (not sure if they have them in Canada) but we had a very pleasant experience at another marriott this past July I am now actively seeking them out when we travel with our 2 little boys. I chose this one based on the great reviews it got on line. This time I purchased the breakfast plan in advance because we appreciate being able to have breakfast in the hotel and it is cheaper to buy it on line. I also chose this hotel because of the pool and the slide.
I have to say that again, we were very happy with our stay at this Marriott, Check in was quick and courteous, the hotel and rooms were clean and quiet, and the free parking and internet were appreciated very much. The pool was enjoyed by all and the slide was an extra bonus for the boys! The only problem with the slide is that it is open only on the weekend and in the AM on Sunday. This was extremely disappointing for the boys. Breakfast was adequate. The bacon was burnt to a crisp and the orange juice was served warm. Not sure why they thought anyone would enjoy eating that bacon and why they would serve it.
Overall, if we came to this area again we would stay at this Marriott without question.

The Courtyard is a very clean hotel. Everything is in great shape. According to the hotel's webpage, it has a lovely pool with a 2-story waterslide. We can attest to the pool being lovely, but what they didn't mention on the webpage is that the slide is only open Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays. We stayed on a Wednesday. You can imagine my daughter's and husband's disappointment when we arrived to find they couldn't use the slide.

The hotel is surprisingly close to the airport and has good links to the main roads. It is about 10 minutes away from the nearest mall.
There is a pool and a gym downstairs. Opposite the hotel is a Tim Horton's, Wendys, Applebees and a steak house.
I never got around to trying the hotel food. They do have breakfast available. An ATM machine and internet available near reception.

The room itself is a good size and comes with all the necessaries.
The staff was the one thing that definitely won me over, pleasant, polite, helpful and very friendly.
Top marks for this place!

Happened on an impromptu one stay here. It's a very modern hotel, all the facilities are new. Guest rooms are spacious and equipped to a high standard. Didn't get chance to try the pool & waterslide, but it looked the best I've seen at a hotel.

We stayed here on our wedding night in January 2008 and returned again last night for an overnight to celebrate our anniversary.

We stayed in a king jacuzzi room - the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we had a really nice stay. The decor is updated, and it's nice to have control over the heating in your own room.

We didn't take advantage of them this time, but the pool and hot tub area is very nice and clean. There is free coffee and tea and cookies in the lobby - a nice touch!

  • Liked — Clean room, quiet, great amenities
  • Disliked — Not a great view, not particularily close to anything of interest
