After the viewing is over - plays, community conferences or music bands there is mingling in the halls or nibbling and drinks on the outdoor patio in the summer.
The Rose Theatre is truly part of our beautiful Brampton Community because of the large, Rose Theatre Square.
The Rose Square hosts bands, concerts, plays, festivals and just plain old community and neigbours meeting for an ice cream, tea, coffee or other beverages, BBQ, breakfast, served by the small vendors of the square.
Just 2 minutes walk away there is chess lane in the summer, and the beau-arts Brampton gallery. This is a heady and exciting square surrounded by small restaurants. There are always canopies and tables and chairs and benches for visitors.
Get tickets to either no-cost plays or events inside Rose Theatre and then enjoy sitting outside around the Lorna Bissell fountain. In the winter, the Christmas tree is beautifully lit - quite a sight. [OK, if you are fussy, call it the 'Holiday' tree.]
During the Brampton Market days, vendors set up their tents along the square. It is an exhilarating place to be. The Rose Theatre is really a duo - with the large, community oriented, smoke free Rose Theatre Square.
Say HI! If you see me there.
