“Elk, really?”

A must try. Delicious! Every bite. I love the fact the meat is grain fed n gluten free is available as well as meatless burgers. Haven't tried one but that will be next. Looking forward to my next experience.

“Terrible food and service!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 18, 2013

Last weekend we came here to scope the place out to see if it was worth bringing everyone from work for our Christmas get together. The place is large enough to accommodate groups but yet its not heated very well as several people asked to be moved due to the cool environment.

This is suppose to be a Gourmet Burger shop and one would figure that they specialize in burgers. So when your order arrives you would expect a nice juicy burger. Not here! We were severed nice and bloody burgers where the meat was more red than the red peppers on top of it. and yes it was juicy. I can say that I was truly disappointed. So after a few minutes we flagged down a server and she apologized and took our RAW burgers back to the kitchen.

During this time, while we sat and ate our fries, we noticed the Owner and staff using cell phones in front of the kitchen while waiting for orders. We didn't expect to see this, it was very unprofessional on their part, considering this is a gourmet burger shop. Places such as South St Burger Co and even Wendy's with younger staff do not conduct themselves in this manor. The owner couldn't even take the time to visit the table to do some damage control. Most places will tend to your concerns and even offer something for the inconvenience. Not this place! He didn't even seem to care if we came back. Which is fine, we will not be back and we've told everyone of our experience. Take my advice. Don't eat here. There are cheaper places out there that will take better care of you and serve you better food.

“Great spot”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 12, 2013

This was mine and my husband's second time at The Works and our first time at this location. Our first visit was great, but the staff and service really put this one over the top. Personally, their highly extensive menu is slightly overwhelming, though there is definitely something for everyone. The prices are reasonable and what you would typically expect for a great burger.

“Want a big delicious burger this is the place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

A franchise with industrial décor but the 45 different novelty named burgers make the visit worth while. Burgers start from around $11.00 and go up depending on toppings. A variety of buns, patties( beef, turkey, elk, veggie, chicken) and sides. Plenty of extras if wanted besides burgers. Drinks served in measuring cups. Burgers with avocados, caramelized onions, multiple cheeses, fruits, veggies, sauces or build your own. Not your average burger place or price.
