We really enjoyed our stay at this B&B. Clean and comfortable. Gorgeous property. Pool was refreshing and hot tub was amazing. Breakfast was great and our stay was topped off with a great yoga class with Trish. Very enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Copeland room on the main floor. Handy for the pool and hot tub but still private...

The house and it's surroundings are beautiful, and Trish and Doug are gracious and sophisticated hosts making the stay a very memorable experience.
We came there for the Centurion Race and enjoyed every moment. The guest part of the house has wood interior, is very beautiful and large with a separate kitchen when you can always find coffee, fresh fruit, and cookies.
We only came for two days and wished we could stay longer. We are definitely planning to return.

Trish and Doug were gracious hosts during our stay for the Centurion Race in Horseshoe. The home is in a perfect location: the end of the driveway faces the race route and I could see my wife and others standing there to cheer us on as we raced past!

Doug and Trish (and daughter) are very caring and accomodating. Their home is meticulously maintained and we felt very comfortable there.

The salt-water pool was a refreshing treat after the race. It was a sweltering day!

We met others at the house who raved about the accomodations. We concur completely.

Highly recommended. And if you go, be sure to pick up a bottle of Doug's maple syrup.

We did!

This B and B is housed in a beautiful, warm and spacious home with wood interior throughout and situated on a very large property. Attention is given to design and detail that made our stay feel welcoming and comfortable (e.g. as simple as a toothbrush holder in the bathroom, extra roll of TP in the holder, outdoor shower by pool, cookies and tea at all times). It is surrounded by peaceful woods and farmland. Tricia along with Doug, Lauren and Buster were accommodating to all our needs and made us feel at home. The salt water pool was luxurious after a hot day of activity in the middle of summer. There is lots to do on the property alone. The breakfasts are healthy and filling. This is definitely one of the best B and B's we have visited. We enjoyed our stay so much, we didn't want to leave and are plotting our next visit.

Room Tip: All rooms are equally nice. Upstairs two rooms share a balcony looking over driveway and face south...

My mom, sister-in-law and I had a pleasant stay at the Forks in the Trail. We were welcomed into their home, hot tub, indoor sauna and yoga class! We had pancakes with fresh syrop from their property for breakfast. That was after having our coffees by the hot tub on a sunny winter morning. Tricia, our hostess, then brought us on a ski tour of her property and shared some warm family stories about her ski trails. I can only imagine the beauty in the fall! Rooms are new, sparkly clean and welcoming. There is plenty of space to sit as a group by the fire and share stories. If a quiet chat with a friend or loved one is what you feel for there is a cozy space with 3 chairs looking down at the wood fire place on the main floor.

My wife and I wanted a special place to spend our 30th anniversary. We found it at Forks in the Trail. Tricia and Doug were great hosts. The breakfast was healthy and delicious. The house is just beautiful and in a gorgeous location. There is plenty of room to sit by the fireplace and look out over the valley. The view from the upstairs library is even more spectacular. It is within minutes of cross-country skiing and down-hill skiing resorts. Sitting in the outdoor hot tub is a great way to end a strenuous day on the trails or slopes. Tricia recommended a restaurant that turned out to be beyond my expectations. We will definitely be going back. This is one of those hidden gems.

Room Tip: All the rooms looked great, but I can only comment on our room, which was upstairs. It was spacious...

We visited in the winter with friends and couldn't have had a more perfect B&B. The house is gorgeous with beautiful views from any window. This large house has a number of spots to sit with friends, a great hot tub overlooking the woods and trails around the property to explore. It's spotlessly clean and the hosts are very friendly and welcoming and take care of all the small details. This would be a great spot for couples or families in any season. We look forward to returning.
