“Fresh, juicy and different!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2013

Flipburger was recommended to me by a friend so I decided to try it out. I arrived early for lunch and found the restaurant to be very clean. The toppings are remarkable and will surly please everyone's taste buds. The beef is local and the flavour is awesome. I'm a huge burger fan but have only come across one other restaurant that served a "real" burger. Try this place out...you won't be disappointed. Oh, they have really good homemade milkshakes too.

Burger, fries and shake came to $14 (approx.).

“OMG - fried eggs and guacamole!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2013

Went to flip for the first time tonight (April 29) and had a burger (cheese, tomato, lettuce, haystack onions, ketchup, mayo, guacamole and a fried egg), french fries and a vanilla shake.

DELICIOUS!!!

Service was friendly and fast - the place was reasonably clean (staff could have been out cleaning tables a little more and sweeping the floors).

The burger was really really good - a little to much salt on the fries for my taste but they were very tasty and the vanilla shake was scrumptious.

“thumbs down”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 24, 2013

Flip Burger needs to learn that serving a gluten free option does not mean simply not giving me a bun. We ordered our burgers and asked if they could do gluten free. We were told yes. At no time were we told that their version of gf is simply no bun.
When our orders were ready, we headed up to the counter, picked up our food and sat down. Here is the puzzling part: There were two containers like you see for Chinese takeout on the tray (plus our fries). We kind of looked at one another then opened the containers to find they had cut up a patty and threw it in on a load of lettuce, added some tomato and some mushroom. That was supposed to be our gluten free burger! Headed up to the counter to ask what was up and where were our gf burgers...got a blank look and a 'well you ordered gluten free, and that's it'. Well, gee, thanks. They could have told us they didn't have gf buns and that they cut up your patty and throw in on a pile of lettuce. Not impressed. Expensive for what we got. Fries were soggy and patties were dry. Thanks but no thanks, we'll spend our money at places that actually know how to do gluten free...thank you Cheese Curds.

“OK and Expensive”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2013

My husband and I Flipburger for the first time on Valentine's day. The restaurant itself was clean and tidy, staff were amiable and service efficient. The food was expensive and average. Burgers were greasy, fries were slightly on the crunchy side and the drinks could use more choice.

“We were not happy”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2013

This was another place we were looking forward to trying. We left here as not very happy customers. The list of problems we had go on and on. When we arrived it was a nice clean open area and that things looked good. The lady taking our order did not say anything to us and just basically stood their until we spoke. We asked about a few things and she told us everything was on the board above. We ordered Burgers with fries but asked if we could have the fries as poutine. We waited for the order but when we picked it up it was just fries. I showed the slip and they added cheese and gravy. Then they knocked over the fries on the counter and just pushed it all back in the bag. We were given new ones once I pointed it out.
We all sat and started to eat but the fries were cold and so was the gravy. The taste of the gravy was good but cold. As far as the burger goes it was not that good. The bun was a bit
doughy. The lettuce had the brown (Rusty) edges. The actual meat was kinda boring and over cooked. To top it all off two of the flavors of pop were not working. I can look past all the service problems and everything else but if a place is all about burgers then they should have good burgers.
