What a wonderful place to go in the middle of the city!!!! Crazy how beautiful it is in there...... I am happy to take my granddaughter there and have so much fun with icecream, then seeing the flowers and the ducks!

“Beautiful and peaceful”

A definite stop. It is candy for the eyes and peaceful for the mind. During a busy vacation this is a required stop.

“Who knew gardens could tell so much!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2012

With a very engaging guide, we thoroughly enjoyed our stroll thru the gardens - not only learning about the history of the garden, and about the many species of plants and trees - but about the importance of gardens in Victorian lifestyles. Everything has a purpose - not only for looks but for feelings/ ambiance , mood-creation -and for exercise and socializing! It was one of the highlights of our city tour!

“Beautiful in springtime!”

In my opinion, May/June is the best time to go, watch for the beautiful wedding parties coming from the Prince George on the weekends. Stunning!

“Very Beautiful Park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2012

A must see when in Halifax. Located in Downtown Halifax. A nice place to take a relaxing stroll. The gardens are very well maintained. Please do not feed the ducks!
