Our conference group marvelled at the quality of service from the hotel staff--an excellent stay! The meeting room and food were excellent. Highly recommended, and great access to the Halifax waterfront.

Always try to overcharge. Stay here based on corporate rate and they never get bill right. If they could figure out how to add it would be a reasonable experience but due to constant overcharges I question the sincerity of their efforts to get the bill correct!

Perfect. From reservation to check out the service I received from the staff at the Prince George was flawless! The room was very clean (a little dated but VERY clean) The bedding was fresh and the beds comfortable. Over all it was a 10 out of 10. Best in the city!

I gotta tell ya Cynthia C...10/10 is pretty darn good... thank you very much for saying so. The problem with that (if there is one) is that 10/10 is perfect and we aren't that - however we certainly try to be. Thank you for your support and for sharing such kind words. Our team loves reading reviews like your and it only makes us work harder. Thanks again.

Over the last two years we have stayed at several of the top hotels in Halifax. This one, was the best yet and also the best value. The restaurant is better than most of the top rated restaurants in town.

Everything about the room was great - the room was a good size, we were pleased to have a fridge and a Keurig in the room for beverages, and the air conditioning worked. The in-room toiletries were all nicely scented, and staff was all pleasant.

Due to allergies, I was worried that we would end up in a room that pets had been in, but they do have pet-free floors, so this wasn't an issue (plus we certainly didn't hear any barks or other noises from pets).

The only negative thing was with regards to some of the other guests being noisy, but that isn't something the hotel can control (and is to be expected on a Friday night, I guess). Some of the guests were somewhat rowdy in the hallways at night, but we didn't have any issues with noise from the street.

The location was great, near the downtown core, and the harbourfront was definitely within walking distance (though returning to the hotel from the harbourfront is ALL uphill!).

Staff were friendly, helpful, enthusiastic, and genuine! Foyer completely renovated to an elegant entrance. Fitness room met my needs. Staff were always willing to help but not pushy or in your face. Would recommend this hotel also for its proximity to other restaurants and points of interest. Good quality beds.

The Prince George is well-positioned in the waterfront area of Halifax. Obviously it is close to the Citadel, but it also offers quick access to both the waterfront and to the shopping area on Spring Garden Road. The staff was welcoming, pleasant, and cheerful. The room was clean and functional. The temperature in the room was easy to control. Minor quirks were a fairly big step to get into and out of the bathtub/shower and rather low ceiling in the bathroom, although I'm 6'2" and had no problems. There was no shortage of parking in the garage when we were there. All told, we were very pleased with our stay here. Highly recommended.
