We scheduled a half-day (4-hour) tour last minute. The weather was excellent - cloudy and cool, so not too hot but also not rainy or humid. We were part of a group of six with one guide. There was a short orientation and fitting for life vests and kayak skirts, and we were on the water pretty quickly, about 20 minutes after the tour start time. We paddled along the coast and through some sheltered harbors. Our guide was knowledgable and she kept the trip lively and enjoyable. We stopped for a basic, but tasty, picnic on a small island, which took us on a very short hike up a hill, with beautiful views around the bay (photo attached). We paddled back on the ocean side of the islands, so there was a little more chop and some small swells. We arrived back to the base on schedule. Overall, a very enjoyable experience and one I would recommend. The 4-hour time frame was just right for us, as novice paddlers, but those with more experience may prefer a longer tour. I expect the experience is very weather- and group-dependent.
