Extremely expensive for what you get!! Pool is very dangerous as there isn't any room to swim because of waterslide...Would NOT recommend this hotel for teams of any sports event...even tho they say they accommodate teams. Booked people (with infants) between team rooms which were supposed to be "blocked off for our team" Employee stood outside of one of our rooms like a hall monitor, and treated us like unruly children. Would not allow our children to be in the halls, to go from room to room...These are 11, 12 and 13 year old boys and girls. The so called play room they had for the kids was a joke...a room with a few dining room tables and a tv.....come on ....:( Two big thumbs down for this hotel!!!!
Go to a completely different hotel.......!!!!

During March Break and the SEDMHA International Hockey Tournament, our pool is very popular and is used extensively. At peak performing times we schedule a minimum of one Pool Attendant per shift and frequently have two contingent on the number of registered guests; saftey is of utmost concern to us at Park Place Ramada Plaza. Our Guest Service team works very hard in the weeks preceding major events like SEDMHA to strategically block sporting teams on specific floors. Unfortunately due to floor configuration and the fact that team sizes vary, it is very difficult for us to make a floor exclusive for one segment of our business. We schedule a Duty Manager each weekend to help ensure the successful operation of our hotel. During major sporting weekends we ask our Duty Managers to build relationships with coaches and team managers to help ensure the best experience possible for all of our guests. I will personally have a conversation with The Duty Manager that worked the weekend of SEDMHA to explain how you felt as our guest. Our intent with providing a meeting room to teams is to provide a place to meet and discuss team tactics, share a meal together or watch a movie; ultimately they are corporate meeting rooms, not playrooms. I am sorry if there was confusion at time of booking regarding this component of our Sports Team program.
Again, I am sorry you were not 100% satisfied with your stay. Please do not hesitate to contact me offline if you wish to discuss further.
Kind Regards, Mr. Pierre Roy, VP & GM
