We are from Ontario and this is our third stay at the Evergreen Inn in Antigonish. Located on the edge of Antigonish overlooking a valley with great scenery. Each time we have stayed for a full month. The location is very quiet yet ideal to attend St. Francis Xavier University. The rooms are spacious and spotless. The service is second to none, and the value cannot not be matched in terms of what you get including free wireless internet and local calls. Bill and Lynne are gracious hosts. We will be back in 2010. We would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone!

What a fantastic little place. I'm sure glad that we used Trip Advisor and trusted the experiences of other travelers. The front desk staff made us feel welcome and comfortable, very much at ease. They were friendly and helpful and there were lots of extra little touches that impressed me. Comfortable and clean, nice view from our window. Great value too. Nice, simple continental breakfast in the morning. If you're going to Antigonish stay here!!

Stayed here for Thanksgiving. New management have made upgrades. Rooms are nicely renovated and include kitchenette. Bathrooms are new and include nice soaker tubs. Continental breakfast served from 7:30 - 9:30 and included in room rate which is fair value. In demand for X festivities though. Booked for Grad 2011 and they only have one room remaining. Would recommend this Inn, Distance from campus could be a draw back. If you have a car, no problem, 3km.

My husband, son and myself stayed at the Evergreeen Inn for two nites Oct. 9&10 2009 as we were in town for a family wedding and were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the service and the room. Very clean, spacious and very comfortable beds. The continental breakfast was abundant and easily accessible. The staff and management were very pleasant and made you feel very welcome. The location was very convenient for travelling around town. I would highly reccommend this Inn for any traveller. Kudos to management and staff on a great little Inn.

We were guests of the Inn Oct 9th & 10th, everything was excellent. We consider ourselves seasoned travellers and this one was as good as alot of high end places we stayed at, for sure.

The room was spacious, exceptionally clean, nice modern decor and touches, lovely large bathroom, again exceptionally clean, with new white fluffy towels, which too me is a bonus. Even the added touch of having a nightlight in the bathroom.

The beds were very comfortable, with good quality sheets and pillows. Location was perfect to get to any activities one was there for.

We have recommended this motel to friends and family already and certainly will be staying there on other occassions.

Also, the breakfast was everything one needed to start their day, plus the price was certainly a nice deal as well, so hats off to Bill and Lynn, you have done an outstanding job.

We selected to stay at the Antigonish Evergreen Inn because of all the excellent reviews in Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed. It was everything that had been described. Lynne, owner/host is a warm, friendly, helpful and wonderful innkeeper. She has set the highest standards for service and accommodation and met them all. Her Inn is absolutely spotless, neat and compact with housekeeping facilities (microwave, cutlery, crockery, dishwashing liquid, recycling bins etc) in each room, sitting area with table and chairs for two and an enormous bathroom with hair dryer, magnifying mirror, night light etc. Daily newspaper and the sumptuous and enormous breakfast are both complimentary. Breakfast with coffee, juices, hot and cold cereal, multi-grain bread, bagels, fresh fruit as well whole fresh fruit, snack oat bars etc etc. You can almost skip lunch with the choices available. One cannot try them all! If you are bored with the TV channels, Lynne will loan you DVDs for free. There is also a coin-operated washer and dryer on site for your use. We highly recommend that you will not regret staying at the Antigonish Evergreen Inn. Doris and Anthony Vancouver BC
