Although not originally planned, we stayed three nights in Annapolis Royal at the Honeysuckle Haven B & B. We were most delighted with this small town nestled in the Annapolis Valley in Nova Scotia, and with our outstanding accommodations. . Susan, our host, saw to our every need and helped us plan our days' activities. After restful nights we visited the only 'tidal power station' in North America, visited Fort Anne, browsed the fun shops and dined at some of the nicest small town resturants we encountered. One of my very favourite joys was the Historic Gardens. We plan to go back in the autumn to visit Port Royal, the first settlement in Canada and bring friends so we may enjoy a weekend of golf and take in King's Theatre.
We are so looking forward to a couple more of Susan's yummie breakfasts and enjoying the peace and quiet of this delightful bed and breakfast!
