“Awesome!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2013

This is a great tour. The tour leader obviously loves to give this nightly tour, and has great stories to tell about the residents of the graveyard. The proceeds go to the Annapolis Historic Society.

“Entertaining and educational delight”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2013

Really loved this cemetery tour in Annapolis Royal. Very entertaining and also educational. Not a ridiculous ghost tour, but actually a humorous history lesson and at only $7 per person, a real bargain.

“Fun and educational tour!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2013 via mobile

Loved everything about this tour! The guide, Alan, provided historical information and humor at the same time. Carrying the lanterns added an extra special touch. We really enjoyed this tour. Mosquitos are abundant, so bring spray.

Best walking tour ever! A unique way to learn the history of Annapolis Royal.Very informative and fun. Not at all scary. I loved that we all got lanterns - great source of heat for those cool nights.

“Go! and on the first day, so you can appreciate Annapolis Royale all the better”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2013

Location, atmosphere, the well-trained and enthusiastic tour guide. Mostly, he made the graveyard relevant. Made it come alive with stories and intrigue about the bodies under foot. For my children, who until that night, their only experience with graveyards was holding their breath until one passed in the car, it was particularly enlightening. A fun time and if you are there, do it! He addresses Acadians, women, African-Canadian heritage so it is not a "glory days" set of stories. Also, you learn about the skulls and wings on headstones.
