I was attending a 2 Day Conference in Wolfville (The Learning Curve Debbie Diller from Texas as guest speaker) and wanted a quiet retreat after a long day. I had stayed at the Tattingstone Inn many years ago with the former owner. I was delighted to find that the new owners have kept the original charm and coziness of the Inn intact. The room was beautifully decorated with a canopy bed , electric fireplace and gleaming mahogany furniture. Thomas and Heather were very gracious Inn Keepers. The bed was incredibly soft and felt like "home away from home". The breakfast that was included was delicious with local bacon from nearby Canning, scrambled eggs, wheat toast, jam and an apple and orange garnish. The breakfast appetizer was yummy too (yogurt with a maple drizzle). It is a wonderful Inn and a short walk past the stunning Acadia Campus into town for dinner and shopping on the main street. I did not realize that I had left behind a cherished sable makeup brush and when I returned from the Port Pub after lunch (another spot I'd highly recommend) the Inn keepers had delivered my brush to the conference room with my name attached!! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay and your kindness. I would highly recommend this Inn :) It was very cozy in March I can just imagine the Summer and Fall here would be even more spectacular with the leaves on the trees and the gardens in bloom.
My friend had room #2 and I had room # 3 and both were delightful and tastefully decorated.
