We went here for supper wanting to sit on the deck and watch the sun set over the harbour. The drinks we ordered were slow to arrive and one of my friends had ordered a beer they only had in cans...no glass and the top of the can was dirty. I'm not exactly fussy, but the waitress could have poured it into a glass? She didn't apologize when we pointed out that the can was dirty...it's a simple thing to do and means a lot to a customer. I ordered the shrimp and scallops in white wine cream sauce and they were OK, but the sauce was watery. I asked the waitress for some bread to dip into the sauce and she finally got back to me that they were all out of bread..???? Her service was very slow. The owner came over in a pirate costume ( for Founder's Day I believe ) and was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of privateers. I won't be eating there again and if you want the view, pick up a couple of sandwiches at the Sobey's grocery store and eat them in the waterfront park.
