THIS is what a B&B should be like!Jonny and Lesley are made for the constant flow of people that is the B&B business. They are super friendly, and go out of their way to give sight-seeing tips, provide delicious food, and generally just to chat about the world. The rooms are spatious, clean, quiet, and the beds comfy. The breakfasts are gourmet, with chef Jonny at the helm. One morning started with fresh and exotic fruit salad, followed by home-made bread, followed again by a fluffy waffle with fresh sliced strawberries and home-made whipped cream. This is no place for the meat-lover: everything is strictly vegetarian, and their practices are environmentally friendly. It even seemed like they churned their own butter, but maybe the warmth and friendliness of the place went to my head. Still, if you read the free-form guest-books left in the rooms, you'll see how much other like the place also. The books are filled with drawings, poetry quotations, and other efforts to express how much guests appreciated staying at the Calico Sunset.Great people, and a great place to stay. My only regret is that we could only stay for such a short time!
