I first started going to Taste of Saigon as a visitor to Yellowknife, and I continue to go now that I'm a resident. By Yellowknife standards, the food is tasty and affordable. However, it's more expensive than a similar restaurant in a big city, and you don't get the same fresh ingredients (e.g. herbs for pho noodle soup or bun vermicelli). If you're a local or a visitor looking for a reasonably priced, fast and tasty dish I highly recommend it. If you're a visitor looking for an authentic, cheap Vietnemese noodle house, you might be disappointed.
