“Best chicken sandwich”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2012

It's a quaint little small deli that offers the yummiest pickles and the best chicken burger I have ever tasted!

“Superb!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2011

This is one great place! The sandwich was truly amazing and so satisfying!
While I was happily munching on my sandwich I could hear other people thank Manna for the good food they enjoyed. I totally agree. The portions were good and healthy.
You must try it!

“See an actual lunar bread-shapped rock at Manna”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2010

I have always found the staff quite jubilant from Manna European Bakery & Deli. Even the lunar bread-shaped rock in the display case (visible from the free parking lot) which is alleged to have been donated to Manna’s Tatianna by some outlandish chap connected with a ‘shuttle lunch’ some months and months ago, endearing one to the joys of out-of-this world dining place, now famously named the ‘Cantina scene’ by aficionados in gastronomic circles. There, in this place one rarely finds the absence of favour in the engaging smile of 'big cook Jon' and ' the less-often engaging smile of little cook Chris', typically seized in a total pre-occupation in offering a cornucopia of delights and overwhelming adventures in a culinary encounter of one of a kind for those who are fortunate to dare to come to St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.

“Delusional”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2010

Let's be clear about what this is and what this isn't. It is a bakery/sandwich shop/deli next to an auto parts store close to the Avalon Mall and O'Leary industrial estate. It seems to be doing ok at this and is a popular lunch spot for local workers. It seems clean and the sandwiches look good, the croissants I tried were quite nice.

What it is not is anything that would rate on the best restaurants in St John's scale- unless your idea of fine dining is a sandwich. Tourists would have a hard time finding it even - it is not in the downtown area. The only aroma I detect is the rather unpleaseant one coming from the recent reviews of this establishment.
