It's been a while since I have dined at Bianca's, at one time it was the place to dine in St John's but new competition and past attitude of the place kept me away.
But I had heard good things about the place recelntly and decided to give it another try, and I'm glad I did.
I was greeted warmly at the front door and seated promptly, server was attentive without being obtrusive and she took care of our wheat free requests without a fuss.
We started with the soups of Red Pepper and Tomato and the other was a Shirmp and Crab Bisque, both were excellent although the Shirmp was a little over cooked.
For the mains we had the Fresh Lobster and the Osters Rockafeller, both were cooked perfectly and presented beautifully.
Bianca's has an interrestimg way of offering their wines, rather than give you a wine listing they have them all presented along a wall with the prices clearly shown on each (photo attached) for you to consider. The host comes up and assists you based on your tastes and budget, I like the concept.
Desserts looked grand although we stayed with a Irish Coffee and a Double Expresso, both were fresh, hot and tasty.
All in all it was a wonderful evening, and it looks like Bianc's is back on their game, good for them!
Give the place a visit, I'm sure you will leave as satisfied as we were.
