I've had such a weird mixture of experiences here. Consistency is not their forte. I keep coming back, though, for two reasons. 1. a friend of mine loves it for some unbeknownst reason to me, and 2. deep fried dill pickle spears.
Service is always slow. It takes a few minutes for them to figure out where to put us, then takes several more for our drink order, then infinitely more for them to ask if we want refills. I have never ever ever been given the bill at the table, I always need to ask for it, and even then I end up just going to the bar to get it. Get your butts movin' b'y, I don't want to wait forever for a refill or a slip of paper.
Periodically, (and for a while, often) they run out of things before reordering them, especially the pickles. This item is why I come here, keep them in stock! The Wings themselves are actually really bad. Always overcooked (I should be able to take off the cartilage cap and pull out the bones on the double boned pieces), which makes them dry, and they always have either way too much sauce, or barely any.
The decor here is also really strange. There's a few nice things, then some kitschy things, then some cheap things, then some gaudy cheap crap. Not only that, but what does aviation have to do with beer and wings? The Music is always really loud, and really crappy. I shouldn't have to yell at dinner to be heard.
Dinner here is also pretty expensive. An app and a lb of wings usually sets me over 20$, which isn't worth it for the quality - not by a long shot.
Save your money and go somewhere with good wings. If you find one, let me know, because my favourite wings are still all the way in Port-Aux-Basques.
