“Awesome night”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2014 via mobile

My husband and I were just looking for a night to get away from the kids. We were certainly delighted with our choice. We had the pleasure of staying in the jellybean suite. Beautiful and very clean. Staff were very pleasant. Close to downtown so lots of restaurants to choose from. Breakfast served right to your room and it was delicious. Can't wait for another night out.

We stayed at the Trinity Suite on April 12, 2014,we were kinda bummed as we had originally booked the parker suite for the next night and due to unforeseen circumstances we had to change but it was a beautiful night away, time to relax. Have to say this was our 3rd stay at Leaside first time in the Trinity. We really enjoyed our stay, the staff were super friendly and the Breakfast was awesome, better than I've had in the past. I liked the idea of the full traditional breakfast, served in our suite which was a plus. Hats off to the Leaside team we will be back.....

Room Tip: The Parker has to be the Best Room by Far, but the Trinity was a great substitute.

Stayed in the beautiful Trinity Suite for my birthday on April 4th. The room was absolutely stunning, loved the jacuzzi, the tea lights were a lovely touch. The private entrance was very convenient. One of my favourite things about the room was the exposed brick at the top of the stairs. It was so nice to have breakfast delivered to our suite in the morning. The staff at Leaside Manor are very nice, welcoming and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay at Leaside Manor immensely and we will definitely be back very soon!

To enjoy to beauty of Old St. John's, Newfoundland, Leaside Suites is the place to do this. With so many different choices they will make you come back to stay in every room they have. It is modernly renovated with chic interior design.
The staff are very friendly and accommodating, willing to help you out with whatever you may need. Leaside suites is a must see time and time again. I will never stay anywhere else!

We have stayed at the Leaside Manor many times...in the Parker, Port Royal, and Bakeapple Suite. It is always beautiful but very disappointing this time (March 1, 2014).

We were greeted at the door by a staff person on the phone, ready to get off shift. A little extra warmth would have been appreciated.

We stayed in a Jacuzzi suite but unfortunately there was no hot water to fill the tub. The B&B was nearly full but I would think that they would have enough equipment/hot water tanks to service all the suites.

Breakfast was a disappointment as well. Would have been so nice to have a gourmet, boutique-inspired breakfast like they did several years ago. They served eggs, bacon, hasbrowns (that were not quite cooked), toast, a small fruit cup, juice, and coffee. It was fine but certainly not outstanding. They do delivery directly to your room which is a nice touch.

In our past stays, we were treated with a gourmet breakfasts that included things like: homemade blueberry baked french toast, Eggs Benedict, accented with fresh whipped creams, homemade jams, homemade bread, and fresh coffee cream. It was inspiring and delicious - I hope they come back to this soon.

Overall, we really do love the Leaside and will be back. All their rooms are very beautiful, clean, and offer a touch of romance. I just hope they are able to make a full adjustments for a truly specular experience.

Thank you for your comments, we really do value them. Sorry to hear that you had trouble with your hot water - please know that this is not a common occurrence, and is the first time I've heard of such. I'm sure the next time you stay you will get to try another of our breakfast choices, we mix them up daily and do include the list you had mentioned, eggs Benedict, French toast, etc. All the best.

My Fiance and I stayed in the Agentia Suite this weekend past as a late Valentine's night out. The room was amazing, the staff were terrific, and the breakfast delivered to our door was delicious. We will be definitely booking there again for another night out in the very near future :)

Hello:) My Hubby and I stayed at Leaside Manor just this past weekend Feb/14...and this time we chose The Parker Suite! It was perfection! It has a beautiful new jacuzzi and IT IS HUGE! So for those lovers that would like a little extra space....you can easily sit side by side (2 seats)...Very NICE! Leaside truly thinks of everything. There's a hairdryer (not your standard on the wall hotel hairdryer (a normal one), soaps, shampoo, make up remover/pads, tealights for all of the candle holders around the room, awesome comfy beds/bedding/pillows, mini fridge (no microwave though....which would come in handy when reheating:), fireplace, dvd/cd player (yes plays burned off discs:), two comfy chairs in front of the fireplace (to sit and unwind with a glass of wine....to which you can buy a bottle from Leaside as we ran out....cost $35.00 for Apothic Red very expensive...but in a pinch a great convenience:), breakfast (2 eggs, bacon, 2 slices toast, potato wedgies, fruit bowl, cranberry muffin, apple juice, tea, soooo yummy:) served right to your door (a discret knock and they magically disappear so that you can bring your food in without having to get fully dressed:), I mean I could go on! You get the picture....it's lovely here! We highly recommend Leaside Manor for an escape from the real world:) We live in ST. John's....and try to make an effort and go here annually...Leaside is one of the keys to our happy marriage:)
Thank you to the staff and Management...you're all amazing!

Room Tip: Parker suite huge Jacuzzi if you smoke though you may want to choose The Trinity or Bonivista as it...
