Before my first visit to Corner Brook I did a bit of homework on tripadvisor to decide where I should eat, and I ended up having an early dinner at Newfound Sushi.
The room is super small but nice with total seating for about 18 and a small to-go counter.
The special appetizer of tempura cod was good. I enjoyed the house-roll topped with tuna, but I agree with a previous reviewer that the fish and the rice were not as cold as I'm used to. I'm thinking maybe it's just because of how long it took to make the roll (the cook was good but not super-quick at making the rolls.) I didn't think the gyozas were worth ordering again, they seemed like they were a bit old and had been reheated before they came to me.
I will return here and I will recommend it to my friends, but I note that this meal was probably the most I have ever spent on sushi. The house roll in particular was $13.95 for eight pieces.
